The three eared rabbit.

I told this story to my little brother and he enjoyed it. hope you will enjoy too.

Once upon a time there lived a rabbit in a forest. the most peculiar thing about the rabbit was that it had three ears instead of two. the third ear was located between the two, that is in the centre of it' head. This special stuff helped the rabbit to hear sounds that are nearly 10 miles away. all the animals of the forest liked the rabbit because it helped them to escape from becoming a prey of the carnivorous animals. this angered the other animals who were dependent on the herbivores.
so one day, the king of the jungle called upon a meeting with all the carnivores. as they were discussing about their problems due to the rabbit's special ability, a fox rose up and told a plan. the plan was that all the carnivores would discuss about hunting together in a direction, but would move in the opposite direction for the same. the king approved this idea and the fox announced loudly that they will be hunting together in the north direction tomorrow. the rabbit heard the announcement.
the next day, the rabbit took all the animals toward south. it asked them to hide inside a cave. then, it dug a big hole enough to have all the carnivores inside and covered it with leaves.then, it covered the entrance of the cave with a huge rock. it then hopped on to the top of the cave and announced, " my dear friends, the carnivores have made a smart plan by announcing that they're hunting in the north but are heading toward south. on my count of three, when the door opens you all must jump across whatever is in front of you. it must be a big leap." the animals agreed. soon, the carnivores arrived on the scene. the rabbit told the king," oh mighty lion, I, the three eared rabbit have lost to you. you are the most intelligent animal of this forest." the lion felt proud of this and all the carnivores started moving the rock. the rabbit counted twice. when the cave was about to be opened, it shouted thrice. all the herbivores inside the cave jumped across the hole in the ground, making the carnivores to fall in the hole. the rabbit asked," oh king, when you were talking to me, didn't you notice the unnatural colour of the grass ahead you? " the lion felt ashamed. and never did he took advice from the fox.
Moral: think twice and act wise.

Saturdays with BK Uncle

Edit 1 : This is something I wrote a long time ago. repurposing for entertainment purposes. any harm thus caused isn't intentional; it happens to be a byproduct. Nobody knows how old BK Uncle is. Some say he's 60; some say he's awaiting his 80th birthday next month. He's been around for a long time. "Long time" might not seem so long, but for this young flat, it feels like an eternity. Old BK seemed nice; he'd converse with anyone he encountered. The four W's never mattered until they came out of him. People got used to his habits, like any obedient student would in an assembly. Well, most people. My interactions with BK Uncle have been quite amusing on my end and irritating on his. Incidentally, most of my interactions with BK Uncle happen on Saturdays. Probably because that's when I'm home, and I take a stroll in the lobby. Not so long ago, I'd play with my friends in the same lobby—it didn't matter what day of the week it was. Times...

My experience with Murakami - 1

Before we begin, I am in no way qualified to review this book. However, I might not be able to move on with life if I don't give this the closure it deserves. I thought my first encounter with Murakami would be through Norwegian Wood. Like everybody else. It could've been through Kafka on the shore too, I saw that book on my dad's desk for almost three months. But no. Maybe this book landed at the right time. Or there is no right time. Sometimes you find the book, and in most cases, it is the book that finds you. With the wind-up bird chronicle, it definitely has to be the second one for me.  The Wind-up bird chronicle - Haruki Murakami I love it when narratives are non-linear. Life, as I've lived it in the last 20 years, or for most of the part that I can remember has not been linear. I've seen people around me leading a linear life.  School->College->job/grad school/get married -> become an adult -> have kids -> realise at 40 you are your parent a...
