Namaste and a very good morning to
one and all present here. I'm R. Bharathi from 9th grade.
A few days earlier we had a small session on Swami Vivekananda in our
assembly. From that, I learnt about swamiji. As a growing youth, I
was very inspired by his teachings and principles. And today, I'm
here with a question. If, Swami Vivekananda sees India today, what
will he be proud of and what will he be ashamed of? And I believe, by
recollecting all the points in front of you, I can find out the
answer to my question. Swamiji's main works are:-
Unify
different faiths.
- Bring equality to women
- Bring practice of Brahmacharya back.
- Bring Vedanta to the masses.
- Improve the condition of the masses.
- Make Hindus proud of their religion and their country
As the future citizens of our motherland,we must know what makes our country. And our culture is very prominent component of that.
Our country is developing, and it will be one of the developed nations in the near future. If we are to achieve that, I believe, we must fulfill Swami Vivekananda's mission on his behalf.
