School reopened last Friday. I received all my marks that day. My performance is not bad, but not satisfactory either. My worst performance is in science, which I've scored just 86%. It is time I open up on the reason behind this deterioration.
First of all things, I wasn't prepared a hundred percent. I was still studying on the day before my exam, and I had a doubt over my preparation. Last minute preparation had never helped me, so I avoided that almost every time, but this time, it was unavoidable. Secondly, at my own risk, I wasn't expecting the paper to be so tough. Usually the paper would be a piece of cake and I would head out of the room triumphantly, but this time, I was glad that it was over. I had never hated exam time till that day, and that was because of my own procrastination. And lastly, I wrote most of the answers on the basis of assumption theory and forgot to prove it! I was able to assume the answers because I didn't miss the classes, but I couldn't conclude them. So, I didn't lose the marks as a bunch, it was half here, and a one there.
My dip this time has taught me a good lesson. Never Procrastinate. Never! Although I have secured the second position in class, I think I could've done better if I had done a little better. The main difference between 8th and 9th is that you can't rectify your mistake of procrastination. So, wind up your procrastination once you get over the middle school!
