A few days back, on 12th January my friend and I decided to participate in an online quiz, conducted by Quiz clubs of Anna University, AcTech and IIT BHU. I saw the listing on Instagram, and since it did not talk about age restrictions, I registered our team. Little did we know, the quiz was meant for college students. We ended up being the only school team (cross-school, to be more precise.) And we succeeded in getting qualified for the finals. Though we didn't end up winning, we were ranked fourth out of the ten teams, and to both of us, it is a milestone. This is my first time participating in an all seniors game, and it was memorable.
And kudos to the organising team as well. They were kind enough to let us play, and motivate us all along. The questions were mind-boggling, and we enjoyed it all along. [For those who feel something's out of the picture, yes I did bunk a test that day. Didn't expect our team to make it to finals. But we did :) ]
And why am I talking about this today? Well, it is my team mate's birthday, and I wanted to thank him for everything he's done for me. From introducing me to quizzes to being there to correct me when I go wrong, he's always been here, even at tougher times. Happy Birthday, Arvind! [you get a poem only when you turn 18]
PS: do visit his page. He's an amazing artist! [@arvindvinodart]
